My first kit
For the month of April I put this kit together. I only made two sets and ended up selling both by the end of the month! yay! I used the Cricut storybook cartridge for the owl and branches.

Paper Daisy, a scrapbooking store
I knew it was going to be difficult, and challenging but I had no idea my back would hurt so much!
Today is day 3. Up until today I hadn't made much headway in the way of customers or profit. FINALLY today I not only had a good number of customers but I also made some money! Most of that was on invitations...something I need to start pushing as it appears to be what is going to pay my bills!
MY BUILDING THE DAY I LEASED IT.
AFTER
I'm placing an order on monday to re-stock the store. Something I couldn't do until now because my tax number hadn't arrived yet from the state. I've been assured that it will be in my mailbox today! We'll see about that!
The webpage is being updated and will hopefully be up and running by next week. Chris is handling that at this point. If he doesn't do a good job I'll FIRE him!
In the next two weeks I plan on painting the trim on the outside of the building and organizing some summer camp activities for kids. My new awning was up today courtesy of the landlord. As soon as I get the front of the building painted and look
I wanted to share some pictures of my store! The front window was done my yours truly with the help of my neighbor's cricut expressions.
I'll post lots more pictures once I get the outside of the building cleaned up the way I want it!
Wish me luck!

Charity Poker Tournament Invitations
On March 7th I'm hosting a charity poker tournament to raise money for the Breast Cancer 3 Day walk in November. I've created these invites for my lovely guests!
The card paper was from Marah Johnson and the stamps on the paper strip and the poker chip were from Stampin' Up. On the back I placed the information about the party. I just hope that my guests appreciate all the work that went into these!!

Valentine's Day Projects
For my first blog I thought I'd post a few of the projects I've been busy with the last couple of weeks.
Since moving to Mississippi I've found that I have a lot more time on my hands! My neighbor has been inspiring me with her paper crafting skills.
Project 1:
Take a soup can or something similar and use a safety can opener to cut off the top. Having the pop top is very important here so make sure the can has one! Then you cover it, embellish it and cover the top. Trimming the paper on the top can be a little tricky. Add ribbons and stamps. To finish it off you fill it with candy and then use a glue like Crystal Effects to seal the top!
Here is a tutorial I found:
Project 2:
My second Valentine's Day project is one that I'm having trouble finding a use for. Its just too cute and I hate to use it!
For this project I created a box out of cardstock and then added 3 little matching cards. I actually did use one card in a gift so my picture only has 2 cards with it.
The little cards are stamped and scalloped.
Its quite a cute little package!
